We flew to Utah on Friday morning for Austin's wedding so we got to watch the game in Salt Lake with Aaron's family that Friday night. Annie and Susan had found a new onesie for Eleanor to sport during the game (Eleanor's already grown out of the other two BYU outfits that we own) and she was all set to cheer on the Cougs.
If anyone knows Aaron then they know that his love for the BYU Cougars runs deep. After all, his ring tone for our entire BYU freshmen year was, "You've just called the World's Greatest BYU Fan!" And believe me, I know that ring tone better than anyone because I called that boy a LOT that freshmen year. So every year Aaron waits with great anticipation for the opening BYU game, and this year was made all the sweeter by getting to share that anticipation with his daughter.
To be fair, Eleanor slept through most of the game, but I still think she was a good luck charm cause we won!
Here's to many more BYU wins this year and many more proud daddy/daughter moments ahead!
