Today I started taking swaddling blankets out of their packaging and pulling tags off new baby clothes. The whole experience made having our baby in just two months so much more real. Those tiny shoes and the little onesies and the soft socks just make this baby all the more real to me. And I have to admit, for the twenty minutes I was handling these baby belongings I had tears brimming my eyes.
We will get to hold her so soon.
