Pioneer Day and Birthdays

Back in July, which now seems very long ago, my whole family ended up in Walnut Creek (all except for Patrick who was in Portugal and was missed dearly).

We attended the annual Walnut Creek 2nd Ward Pioneer Dinner (one of my favorite events) and had fun socializing.

Then we made it home to celebrate my dad's birthday along with Addy and Remy's birthdays.  Presents were given, a birthday game was played, candles were blown out (and blown out and blown out again) and much twirling was had.

It really was fun to all be in the same place at the same time, even if it was only for a day.
