In Kauai, we took advantage of the beautiful scenery and had much more laid back days. The beach we were on had treacherous looking waves and only the boys braved them once. We loved swimming in the resort pools though.
We rented snorkels for two days and started beach hopping along the coast of Kauai. We were never able to find the perfect snorkeling spot but it was still a great excuse to get out, get in the water and see most of the island. A highlight was driving out to the beautiful Hanalei Bay.
By the end of the week we were more tan (well, at least I kind of was) and more relaxed. Aaron and I loved having the chance to spend so much time with the whole family together again after two years of having Austin on a mission and Adam and Christy in New York.
At the end of the week, we flew back in to Riverside, got our car fixed and then drove back to Utah for "real life." Aaron cracked down on his CPA studying and was in the library from 9am-6pm every day while I started a new job at Nomen Global, teaching foreign students how to speak English.
We miss you family and we miss you Hawaii! And thanks Mark and Susan for working so hard this last year!
^^and this was the first time ever that Aaron let himself get the same thing on the menu as Adam! so we took a picture.^^
